Congressman Steve Womack: Getting into Grinch mode

Posted By on Thu, Nov 2, 2017 at 11:57 AM

In case you missed it, Congressman Steve Womack (or The Scowling One, as he is known to his many fans) was let loose again on the floor of the House last week in order to vote.

One of his self-inflicted karmic wounds was his vote on a bill which would have allowed victims of lead-contained drinking water to have sought financial remedies from corporate defendants responsible for the indirect harm in the first place.

Indirect: that’s such a nice, delicate word.

Yes, he voted against such a move.

I had more written, but what the hell, is anything TSO does that much of a surprise anymore?

Now on YouTube - Don House: Woman with Sword

Fayetteville photographer Don House discusses one of the works from his “Women and Violence” series of photographs, from the 1990s.

Quote of the Day

Well, it’s been a relaxing few weeks away from the world of Internet Outrage, but now that I have a few minutes to spare, I thought I’d post something, lest whatever writing skills I still have atrophy and wither away.
