It appears Peter Jackson (King Kong, those silly elves movies) has decided on his next project.  According to, Jackson is going to direct the screen adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel "The Lovely Bones," a story narrated by a 14-year-old girl who tells of her rape and murder and how her family and friends cope with the tragedy.  The film will be shot in Pennsylvania where the story takes place as well as in New Zealand.  No word yet on casting.
