The latest feature from the L.A. Times about prominent screenwriters and their next projects.  This week its Jim Uhls, who wrote Fight Club, is working on a script whiv he describes as a "noir-ish Raiders of the Lost Ark."  The script is an adaption of the graphic novels of  Arvid Nelson and Eric Johnson titled "Rex Mundi."

Johnny Depp will star and produce.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
