The editors at The Oxford American are proud to announce that we've teamed up with Arkansas filmmaker Joey Lauren Adams's for the premiere of her film, Come Early Morning, which will make its statewide debut on December 14th as part of a fundraiser for The Oxford American Literary Project.

The film, shot on location in Arkansas, stars Golden Globe nominee Ashley Judd, who gives a terrific performance as a woman who struggles, despite heavy burdens, to find perfect love. The exclusive screening will take place on December 14th at Market Street Cinemas in Little Rock. Doors open at 5:30pm and the screening will begin at 6:45pm. Tickets are $50 and include reception, film screening, and after-party. Tickets can purchased at the Market Street box office or by clicking here.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
