Golden Globes tonight at 7:00 CST

on NBC.  I'll have some thoughts at predictions out later today.  Be sure to tune in, althought this GG have far less relevance now that the deadline for Academy ballots is before the show.  Still, its fun to watch and is certainly relevant.

Ok, let me get my predictions out of the way now:

Best Picture (Drama): "The Departed"

Best Picture (Comedy/Musical): "Little Miss Sunshine"

Best Director: Martin Scorsese, "The Departed"

Best Actor (Drama): Forest Whitaker, "The Last King of Scotland"

Best Actress (Drama): Helen Mirren, "The Queen"

Best Actor (Comedy/Musical): Sacha Baron Cohen, "Borat"

Best Actress (Comedy/Musical): Meryl Streep, "The Devil Wears Prada"

Best Supporting Actor: Jack Nicholson, "The Departed"

Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Hudson, "Dreamgirls"

Best Screenplay: Guillermo Arriaga, "Babel"

Best Animated Feature Film: "Cars"

Best Foreign Language Film: "Letters from Iwo Jima"
