What to do?  I'm debating taking in "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters from Iwo Jima" back to back.  I can catch "Flags" at the Tandy for a buck.  A film friend in DC recommends it and argues that "Flags" is appreciated more doing it this way.

I've got a movie club outing tomorrow to see "The Last King of Scotland."  "Pan's Labyrinth" is on my review list for Tuesday.  Finally, a weekend with choices, decisions and good films.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
