Posted By on Fri, Feb 2, 2007 at 3:41 PM

For you true movie fans out there, set your TiVo to TCM for its upcoming "31 days of Oscar" special.  Always a treat, this year's collection of films are outstanding - and there's plenty there I haven't seen.  Tonight TCM screens past Best Cinematography nominees and winners. The evening schedule is,

8: 00 -  "Cover Girl" (1944)
10:00 - "Funny Face" (1957)
12:00 - "To Catch a Theif" (1955)
2:00am - "Black Narcissus" (1947)
4:00am - "Two for the Seesaw" (1962)

The Best Cinematography nominees and winners continue tomorrow.  Sunday bring the Best Sound Effects Editing.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
