Did you enjoy your St. Patrick's Day?  It was a hell of a day for basketball.  The SEC continued to do well and the Razorbacks still remained winless in the NCAA's this decade.  I went to a party for good friends that are soon to be married - always fun to see happy people.   Made a stop by the neighborhood bar for a cocktail and some talk about samurais.  I was in bed at a very respectable hour, up early this morning and ready for an event-filled day.  It's "The History Boys" at 2:00 and "Becket" to follow.  I'm having dinner with my moviegoing friend and a good buddy from LA (assuming he can find his way) and we'll screen the "Casino Royale" DVD.  I'm thinking fish of some sort.  It will depend on what's fresh at the market, I suppose.  I've got a decent pinot that I'll open.  Enjoy your day.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.

It's the slowest for movies. "Watchmen," the much anticipated film adapted from, arguably, the greatest graphic novel of all time, has stirred the emotions of critics.
