I'm not sure whether I'm glad to hear that "Angels and Demons," the prequel to "The DaVinci Code," by Dan Brown is moving forward.  Cinema Blend is reporting that Tom Hanks has signed on to reprise the role of Robert Langdon (with mullett?) and he's getting pais a boat load.  "Our scooper says it’s the “biggest salary ever paid to an actor in the history of Hollywood.” I guess it doesn’t get much bigger than that does it? But The Da Vinci Code was a huge success for Sony Pictures, particularly internationally. If they have to pay him more than $50 million to get it back, it’s probably worth it. Nobody wants to see a Da Vinci Code sequel with replacement actors. Sorry Jeff Daniels, you won’t be getting a phone call."

Look, the Great Campus Rape Crisis was mainly hype all along. What Vice President Joe Biden described as an epidemic of sexual violence sweeping American college campuses in 2011 was vastly overstated.
