Nikki Finke has more on "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dean Man's Chest."  Apparently the film, which is scheduled to open worldwide Memorial Day weekend, isn't finished.  Director Gore Verbinski is still finishing up the CGI work.   Also, Finke reports that the budget for the film has soared to well over $300 million.  Wow!  She too confirms that the film will run close to 3 hours.  Disney is hoping that alone will draw fans of 1 and 2 to the theatre.  My guess is that they're right, but whether it hits the $1 billion mark as P2 did will be a challenge.  Nevertheless, for those wanting closure on, well, everything involved in P1 and P2, this is the film for you.  And the effects are rumored to be extraordinary.
