Manhattan Movie Magazine lists the Top 10 Rock 'n' Roll films of all time.  Their number 1 is "This is Spinal Tap."

Despite the saying, sometimes fiction is stranger than truth. A treasure trove of classic lines and archetypal rock scenarios, fictional director Marty DiBergi’s document of life on the road for “England’s Loudest Band” is so accurate, hard-rock grandpop Ozzy Osbourne actually thought it was real. Amps that go to 11, a Stonehenge replica in danger of being crushed by a dwarf, and the first mockumented case of a drummer spontaneously combusting put this outrageous satire at the very top of the rock movie list. Sure, songs such as “Sex Farm Woman” and “Big Bottom” are adolescent and sexist, but, in the words of Spinal Tap guitarist Nigel Tufnel, “What’s wrong with being sexy?” Drugs, STDs, lead singer David St. Hubbins’ meddling wife – the tribulations of an aging and irrelevant rock band on a concert tour to nowhere are brilliantly lampooned in a riotous 90 minutes. Successfully riding the fine line between clever and stupid, this is pure genius.

It's the slowest for movies. "Watchmen," the much anticipated film adapted from, arguably, the greatest graphic novel of all time, has stirred the emotions of critics.
