The New York Times spends time with Sarah Polley, the actress you've seen from "The Sweet Hereafter," "Go," and "My Life Without Me."  She's taking a turn behind the camera directing the upcoming "Away from Her," an adaption of an Alice Munro short story which Polley also wrote.  Academy Award winner Julie Christie stars.  The film currently has a 100% Cream of the Crop rating at rottentomatoes.com.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
