Summer Movies in the New York TimesManohla Dargis has a funny and insightful piece about our obsession with blockbustersA.O. Scott wants to know why studios keep mining the bottom of the television barrel for ideasParker Posey, James McAvoy and "loser" films also get some ink.  Scott Spiegel, a relatively unknown director and producer is also featured.  He's creditied with helping give Sam Raimi, Quentin Tarantino and others their start.  Check out "the ones to watch" as well as the summer calendar.
