What's going on at Warner Bros?  First they green light a new live-action "He-Man" film and now they just approved a script for a live-action version of "Thundercats," based on the 1983 animated series.  Don't get me wrong, there's not a guy my age who didn't love both of these cartoons, but we've seen what live-action adaptation of cartoons can turn into if placed in the wrong hands.  No word on the director for this film.

Thanks to Philip Martin for a shout-out in his Friday MovieStyle column.  I haven't posted my Netflix queue in a while, so here it is.Frozen River; Miracle at St. Anna; Hellboy II: The Golden Army; Happy-Go-Lucky; and Cadillac Records - - all 2008 releases that I missed.
