Can films change the world?  That's the topic of this piece by Nick Frasier in The Guardian.  Notes Frasier, "Poetry, Auden famously declared, makes nothing happen, but one can be almost certain that something happens, just occasionally, when we go to see films. However, many allegedly earth-shaking films merely register the changes before our eyes or appear to stretch out to us by influencing each other."
