Re: “Dave And Ray's Downtown Diner

I don't know who's menu this is on here, but it has never been Dave and Ray's in Downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. I do wish someone would actually post the daily special $7.00 plate lunches...

Re: “Poor People's Campaign at state Capitol

I'm not much for the sulities of the english language but why is the word 'state' in lower case in the headline and the body of this report?

Re: “Americans for Prosperity to host Governor Hutchinson at anti-tax event

Slash State Revenue. Cut taxes. Look how well that has worked for Kansas and Oklahoma.

Re: “Benton County officers shoot man with gun

I hope (but doubt) there is video. Was he shot in the back or front? If front, was he backing away from officers? If back, how was he pointing a gun? If he had a pistol and a long gun, what was he pointing and how was he trying to open the front door? One picture is worth a thousand words. I hope they have one.

Razorblade - Would you agree it is hard to advise someone who won't meet or listen to you?

Re: “South Carolina lawmakers want to build monument to non-existent black Confederate soldiers

I can't help but think that they would somehow use this as justification to protect other confederate statues. They already claim that part of their mission is complete. The education part about not being any black confederate soldiers. But in my mind, they would then expand the 'education' part to teach more about 'confederate values'. Am I just being too cynical? Should I chalk it up to some new Republican altruism?

Re: “Governor tells State Police 'open carry' is the law in Arkansas

Does 'open carry' mean that I don't need a licenses to strap on a weapon? I don't need to pay over $100 for classes and background checks? They can ask for my 'purpose' (self defense) but not my identification? Hmmmm..Oh, I'm asking for a 'friend'....
