The 23rd Annual Southern Fried Poetry Festival, hosted by Rocktown Slam and Sibling Rivalry Press and featuring creative writing workshops, open mics and poetry competitions, continues at various venues (including the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, the Historic Arkansas Museum, the Arkansas Arts Center and more) through Saturday, June 6. The Arkansas Film Commission and the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic presents the free Czech That Film Festival, featuring five Czech films, including Ondrej Sokol's "Krásno," at the Ron Robinson Theater Friday and Saturday night. Upscale Friday begins at IV Corners at 7 p.m. Athens, Ga., indie rock band Futurebirds plays at Stickyz with Roadkill Ghost Choir, 9 p.m., $8 adv., $10 day of. The Casey Donahew Band plays at Revolution at 9 p.m., $20. Handmade Moments are at the Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7-$12. Little Rock band Mojo Depot celebrates its 30th anniversary with a show at White Water (site of its debut) at 9:30 p.m.


Pink Floyd tribute extravaganza Brit Floyd returns to Verizon Arena at 8 p.m., $56-$66. Cadillac Jackson is at Stickyz with FreeVerse, 9 p.m., $5. Little Rock band The See, following the release of its new album "Borealius" (available on Bandcamp), will play its final show at White Water with The Uh Huhs, 9:30 p.m. Ras Levi's Jamaica Me Crazy Birthday Bash is at Revolution, featuring Tricia Reed, Mike Walker, Neff, Fire & Brimstone, DJ HY-C and more, 9 p.m., $12.


The Little Rock Wind Symphony performs "Out and Back Again" at Second Presbyterian Church, 3 p.m. Alexander Jones plays at the Afterthought at 8 p.m., free. Utah indie rock band Desert Noises plays at Stickyz with Consumers, 8 p.m., $8. Alt-country artist Whitey Morgan is at Juanita's, 8 p.m., $12.
