The other two candidates for sheriff and the governor should know this.. The not so funny thing about this here is that Gov Beebe himeself delt with this very topic in 95, setting case presidence in this matter....

Primary law states that if there is no provision for a certain circumstance, then general election law will prevail but in this case there is provision 7-7-104-2-B-b and 7-7-104-2-B-d covers this....

Now, even if there were no provision for what has happened, which there indeed is, this situation should have been settled by lot, as general election law would call for...It really is a no brainer.....

Durring the Prefferential Primary, there were three candidates for this position on the democrat ticket. None of them recieved a majority of the vote so the top two candidates went on to what you are calling a "run-off" which is actually called a general primary by law. In this general primary, there was a tie between the two remaining candidates which created a vacansy that cannot lawfully be filled.....
