Re: “Argenta residents say an industrial neighbor is an assault to the nose, but the city claims its hands are tied

Herr Carter sounds like he is an attorney for the industrial client, not the city. I am sure that if he lived in that same neighborhood, he would not be so dismissive of the valid complaints of the NLR citizenry.

Re: “Goodson vows campaign against 'dark money' in judicial races

Don't know what swill you've been drinking out of, but Goodson is as dirty and compromised as they come. Not that our new Chief Justice is any better, but to say that no one cares where her campaign contributions come from is just plain ignorant and ass backwards.

If I had to appear or argue a case before the court on anything to do with gun rights, class action lawyers, big business, judicial ethics, abortion or anything that is not in line with a Republican agenda, my chances of winning any case in front of this bunch of unethical bozos is nil.

A good start for the Arkansas Supreme Court would be for everyone sitting on the state's high court today to resign, make dark money illegal and write new laws that make sure that our high court and other state judicial offices are nonpartisan.

Re: “Blue Hog Report smells shenanigans in plea agreement, political contribution to Kemp

Our Supreme Court is f:):)k'ed with either of these criminals. How can our judicial criminals mete out proper justice to criminals when they are criminals?

Re: “Tech Park considers exercising eminent domain to acquire Main Street property

Except for Darrin Williams, all of the board members seem incompetent and tone death. After the first eminent domain debacle, why put your foot back in the same mess again.

And if you are trying to attract tech and startup companies to Arkansas, then why is their no one younger than 50 on the board and no one that has any connections to the industry.

This is one big-ass boondoggle of epic proportions and another reason that ethically-challenged, tech park and white flight supporter Boss Stodola, the major of West Little Rock-Chanal, should be swept out of office in the next election.

Re: “Democrats cheer marriage ruling, Arkansas chair aims at dissenters

Dixiecrat Democrat Party in Arkansas is full of cowards. Full of homophobes and racists who have refused to take a stand on Affordable Care Act, same-sex marriage, the Confederate flag or Robert E. Lee Day.

Can't just keep throwing stones at the Republicans. I rather face a racist homophobe that a I know than a hypocrite who claims to be otherwise.

Re: “Despite some outreach, black voters remained in Democratic column

Tea Party cash got to third-personal talking Annie Abrams this election cycle. Supported both Hutchinson and Millionaire French Hill. Maybe this will end the tradition of Democrats, liberals and the media appointing the so-called black community with self-promoting folks like Abrams, Tracy Steele, Bill Walker and other so-called black leaders who have made sacks of cash by trashing the sacredness of the local black church with their seedy politics every election cycle.

That Max and other liberals somehow believe that Abrams good deeds have helped anybody but Annie is laughable. And why does Democrats and Republicans alike believe that folk like Abrams and Steele have any clout within the mythical black community anyway. I would suggest that you go to a black church this Sunday and check out all the eye-rolling when Abrams, Steele and others of that ilk make their attention-getting entrance each Sunday to the front row of the local black mega-church.

The choices that black voters have today with both the Democratic and Republican is kinda like choosing who you like more - a terrorist or a pedophile.

Re: “Enter the black vote in governor's race; Asa plays the gay card

I won't vote for either of these dweebs. Will skip over this contest because both are racists. There is a growing class of upscale Democrats who believe that voting means making a choice of either a terrible Dem or a sorry ass GOP candidate, even if the voter is simply choosing bad over worst. I don't agree because that is now the legacy of the Democrat Party. Voting should mean something, even if you choose not to vote for either candidate. That is what I do when I walk into the booth on Nov. 4.

At least I know Hutchinson is racist, but Dems like Ross are even more dangerous because they pretend to have the interest of their black constituents at heart.

I've seen Ross in an audience of all white voters who referred to the president in the most vile terms and Herr Ross remained silent.

And most politicians think black voters are all the same, but most black voters are great judges of characters, including the same money-hungry so-called black community leaders that both parties trot every election, mainly to make sure that their politician of choice gets an invitation to the local black church of what's happening now.

Have to wonder how much the blacks in either camps are paid. The black votes lining up for Ross are largely known seen in the same light as Tracy Steele and Bill Walker, more interested in lining their pockets than doing what is right.
