Re: “Hucakbee interviews Trump

At least DJT knows the word "treasonous," but he's in denial because it applies to him more than anyone else. I'd say he's also a borderline personality disorder.

Re: “Full day of events at Stifft Station Pop-up on June 23

They can make that permanent, if just to slow the cars going through at intersection. I live there too.

Re: “Family separations won't stop Asa from sending Guard to border. French Hill parrots Trump

NBC reported this morning that the administration planned for this as early as February 2017. Reading between the lines, it is to coerce the border wall. Trump says for Congress to act. If it does, without funding the border wall that Mexico is supposed to pay for, he will veto it and blame the Democrats again for his own policy. LSOS

Re: “Municipal League targets FOI law changes

Definitely will pass. Anything to protect government from people and corporations from government. That's the Republican credo.

Re: “Former senator Jake Files gets 18-month prison sentence

18 months translates to 15 1/3 months with "good time," with last six months in a halfway house, not that he needs it. So 9 1/3 months in a camp, not a pen. Easy time. Maybe he can go to a primo camp with a golf course (think Nick Wilson at Elgin AFB camp). Federal judges have no control over where the sentence is served; that's the BOP. White collar defendants almost always get a camp, even for up to five year sentences. The "no debt" part of the sentence will hurt more in the long run.

Re: “Issue 1: An opponent issues a challenge

Note the amount Hendricks gave. That shows his interest. Aside from that, the purpose is to allow the legislature the power deny the right to jury trials. The right to a jury trial in every case is now almost solely an American right. Other common law countries have cut back on it, too. Because it favors business, not people. And the Arkansas legislature is not for people. They are for themselves.

Re: “The Cheech and Chong Memorial Open line

In plain English: They come upon a car that smells of marijuana. That's probable cause to search it, even if the odor is likely attributable to the occupants smoking it.

With all due respect to the officers, "Good job guys!" was just luck and the stupidity of the morons with the pot, smoking pot while carrying it.

And, of course, the LRPD overstates the value of the pot, unless you consider it by the ounce and then as high grade. It's way cheaper by the pound and for lower quality, maybe a third of the value attributed to it here: http://www.priceofweed.com/prices/United-S…
