Re: “Thursday: Headlines and the open line

Thank you, mountaingirl. I appreciate your sympathy and the fact that you were also glad to see me! I hope to be back full-time soon; I'm just not myself yet. I miss Fred and the chocolate Lab we lost back in 2005. He, too, was special. My son wanted that dog so badly and, among other reasons, I had to get a divorce before the kid could have a Lab when we had the perfect setup - pool, fence, loving home, three people to take care of him and play with him - not letting him have a Lab was just dumb. The vet told everyone I traded in my husband for a chocolate Lab and he'd never seen me happier! I miss those days with my boys. They went and grew up on me, but I am comforted by the fact that they're Democrats, as I raised them!

Re: “Thursday: Headlines and the open line

Plain Jim,
thank you for your kind words. I am planning to come back full time very soon. My own rescue dog passed away in May after a long illness, and I have been busy taking care of him and now grieving. I'm just not back to myself yet. HE was the best dog in the world, of course. I still have another rescue dachshund, so I'm not dogless, thank God. I enjoy all your comments so much, and I have missed you all!

Please tell me drumpf did not actually say that, NVR. I mean, I know he did, but sometimes I like to pretend he didn't act the fool again at NATO conferences and such like. I miss my innocence Obama allowed me to enjoy.

That is good news. Now we must pray for news that trumpf has been captured in England and is being held in a tower, where he must wait for a maiden stripper to release him, and nobody's lining up. Her Majesty the Queen will be pleased, and so will we. May he remain thus forever!

Re: “Tom Cotton "has surpassed Ted Cruz as the most disliked member of the Senate"

Kathy Green, my two dogs hate Tom Cottonmouth. They also hate racists. Some people just could NOT handle that black man in that white house, like Steven.

Steven, I am quite capable of thinking, thank you. I've been able to think for many years, and I think you're a jackass and a racist. You're blaming Obama for what, exactly? Oh, that's right, being black and being successful. As jhudd pointed out, most of what you're yammering about is distant history. People complain that dotard donnie never served in the military because he acts like he knows all about it, but when all is said and done he's just Cadet Bone Spurs with a narcissistic sociopathic disorder and a fool.

We thought Tom Cottonmouth had problems in HIS haid, and then Steven jumped into the mire.

DrSpector,
I live in his district, and I would die before I'd vote for him. And I don't know who votes for him but there must be a bunch of them. It's sad. He gets lots of money from the NRA. I believe you mean Koch Industries, but cock industries is good enough for me.

Re: “Tom Cotton "has surpassed Ted Cruz as the most disliked member of the Senate"

tsallenarng, you're on a roll.

Maybe calling our deplorable and disrespectful senator Tom Cottonmouth would be more appropriate. At least you'd know he was a snake if you picked him up. He wanted to be head of the CIA, so I'll bet he is pitching a few hissy fits now, even if we don't see them.

I plan to stay in my bed with the dogs, with the covers over all our heads, on June 12. I know that won't help us if war breaks out, but I'm afraid there might be an outbreak of global stupidity after drumpf attempts to negotiate with Kim Jong-Un. He really does have the attention span of a gnat on meth, lol. I just feel like hiding on that particular day.

I'm ashamed to say I live in Cottonmouth's district. I take care to vote against him, but I'm just one vote and I don't know who the hell is voting FOR him. How can people fail to see how nasty he is? He wouldn't help a constituent, a commoner, if his life depended on it! I live in an unchangeable, rigid, red county. It's a shame.
