Re: “Arkansas Razorback 2017 football review, part 4

Arkansas will be 8-1 headed into Baton Rouge. LSU has an average QB, excellent RBs, good WRs, and an O-Line that is going to have some major blocking issues. The Tiger D should be strong again, but they lost a number of contributors from last year's defense. The Hogs are rolling by this time, and make it 3 wins in four years over the Bayou Bengals.
After outscoring Miss St, and bashing Mizzou and their big-mouthed LB Eric Beisel into the ground, the 2017 Arkansas Razorbacks finish the season 11-1. The Hogs will either play Big XII runner-up Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl, or will be ranked #4 and will make the playoff semi-finals, getting another shot at #1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl!
WPS! Go Hogs!

Re: “Arkansas Razorback 2017 football review, part 3

Yes, a win over Auburn would be huge for sure. I do think last year was a fluke collapse by the Hogs. I also think Auburn is overrated.
Since I feel that they will beat an average South Carolina, the Hogs are 8-1 after throttling Coastal on homecoming night.

Re: “Arkansas Razorback 2017 football review, part 2

A loss at an average at-best South Carolina squad?! I don't see it. Muschamp is a very good defensive coordinator, but is lacking as a head coach. The Gamecock defense might be pretty good, but their offense will struggle, even with a good QB like Bentley. Hogs win this one, pulling away in the fourth, 38-28.
5-1 after visiting Tuscaloosa, where Arkansas loses, 27-21.

3-0 is correct by this point on the season.
