Re: “Sheridan High squelches yearbook profile of gay student

Maggie Smerf - I seriously hope you are a troll and not an actual person because I kinda want to stab my own eyes out after seeing someone actually write "the forefathers created San Francisco". I mean, do you actually believe that ONLY Gay people live in San Francisco? Or are you just taking things you've seen on TV or read and making it the truth?
Newsflash: that Gay child is no more capable of "forcing his beliefs on you" than you are EVOLVING. That child has the RIGHT to be who he is in the school that he goes to whether you agree with it or not. And the more Christians like you who keep judging people and doing the devil's work of bullying people in the name of God, the more kids like Taylor we will have living a life of fear and even killing themselves because they can't handle a world full of idiots judging them.
You need to read your dang Bible and highlight the part where it says "God so loved the World that he gave his only son". Nowhere in the Bible did it say "God loves everyone except....." with a list of things that you don't agree with. I'm sure that this is hard for you to understand but you Do realize that so-called "Christians" are, at this VERY moment, advocating for the DEATH of Gay people? You do understand that this child has a Mother who loves him, friends who love him, and is planning to serve our country in the military to protect Freedom of Speech for people like you who would rather take his rights away than EVOLVE into a better, move loving human being.
My very best thoughts and support for Tyler and his family!! That child is BRAVE and FIERCE and I only WISH someone like him had been around when I graduated IN THE CLOSET from that VERY SAME HIGH SCHOOL over TWENTY years ago. He is an inspiration and deserving of our honor, praise, and respect for putting a face on what it's like to be Gay in small-town America.

Best wishes, Tyler. You keep their butts lit up and don't you DARE let these fools throw shade on you. You were born perfect and are a gift to this world. Believe it!
