Re: “Little Rock down to one candidate for superintendent

And by the way....It sounds like speculation, but it smells like if MIlton was Nellums candidate he wouldn't have dropped out. I think we're giving Nellums too much credit here. From Newspaper clippings concerning Mr. Hamer and his take no prisoner attitude, "it sounds like he and Nellums could be brothers...lol

The real attention and community backlash should be focused on a search firm that was paid $30,000 plus dollars and hasn't delivered but one candidate. A person who hasn't been in a public school administrative capacity since,...2004.
Can we get a taxpayer refund...

Wow. Good job LRSD.

Re: “Little Rock down to one candidate for superintendent

Max:
WHy would Nellums give a school board member in another district a heads up that their superintendent was being "recruited by another district?." That statement itself sounds a little incredible. I bet your source was "Pure as the Driven Snow,... Melanie Fox." Not only would Nellums not know who was a finalist, why would he tip his "mans hat." That makes no sense. Again, I bet your source is Melanie Fox.

Fox and the (white business/good suit club simply couldn't stand three African-American finalist, so an excuse was made that one had been untimely with his response. Who made that assertion (Melanie Fox) and so he was substituted by a man with a masters degree. Your column is beginning to smell just a bit. I bet if you called the search firm, Jacobsen and McPherson, they'd tell you only Fox was in contact with them, and they "HADN'T spoken with any other board members during the process but.....Pure as the Driven Snow Melanie Fox....
