Re: “ACLU investigating Mills High showing of 'Passion of the Christ,' teacher's classroom rant about 'liberalism' after complaints

@JTG did I say he was a bad teacher for this? No. Please, take time to read my statement again. I said these children are defending him for those list of reasons. Thank you

Re: “ACLU investigating Mills High showing of 'Passion of the Christ,' teacher's classroom rant about 'liberalism' after complaints

@OLPHART JTG couldn't have his book handy, because at the beginning of the year Hendrix had us check them out (because we had to) and told us to put them back on the shelf, because we would not use them all year. Being a student at mills, one of the very few intelligent ones, I am at a loss of words. I've already spoken on this topic multiple times, and just to sum it up: Coach Hendrix shouldn't be teaching. We've watch 7+ movies to "teach" us. We watched crash course John Green nearly every day, and that was our source of learning. It's honestly an easy A; all of the students defending him just like getting the grade. He let us eat in class, have phones, go to the library whenever we wanted, etc. I can honestly say there are little to no facts that I learned the entire year being with him. He shouldn't be teaching. Bottom line.

Also, what another earlier blogger said was true. Us in traditional classes have been taught that what the teacher says is right. And to never go against or question our teachers, because that will lead to disciplinary consequences. We have a messed us system. Hendrix (a low key racist) has built an army out of the minorities in our classrooms. They have to believe them because it's what we have always known. What he did was ILLEGAL, there is no way around it. This is far deeper than just what he thinks, or some movie. He is attempting to indoctrinate us. And it is not right.
