For those that don't like politicians swiftboating veterans, you could chip in some cash on Ken Aden's ActBlue page:…

"But look out BA, RPA will be coming at you and yours."

Tell 'em to bring it.

Re: “'Monkeys don't eat tamales'

For that matter, there have been other emails sent out that are far worse than the one about the "monkeys".

Re: “The redistricting fight rolls on UPDATE IV

Ross is gone after 2014, one way or the other. He wants to be governor. I have never seen Democrats and progressives so willing to neuter themselves politically by wanting to stay in a solid Republican district when they could alternatively hold their knows with a Republican in Dem clothing for two years and then help elect a better Democrat in 2014.

I should also add, for the record, that the "PETA charge" is false. Jerry confirmed for me today that he has represented the Sierra Club in his role as an attorney but not PETA.

Re: “Tonight's the night ...

Bruce Cozart, GOP nominee in special election for House District 24 out of Garland, had an interesting take on how to create jobs for his district. When asked about how to address the problem, Mr. Cozart explained "We don't know the answer." Comforting, right?…

Re: “Friday night line

For the record, it ain't over yet....we've still got a ways to go before the bike trail is adopted and put in place here and they did take that traveling freak show to Truman and won a battle there for the time being. Still, this is a sign we can win if we get organized. I'm pretty plugged in to the community here and there were a ton of people here I had never met before standing up to Pellie and her gang. There really are more of us than them, here and everywhere, and they only represent our communities in their minds. Wherever you live, please, do your part to stand up and get organized to beat these folks like a drum on issue after issue.
