Henry Darger's work reveals awesome insight into the mind of one on the autism spectrum. His Vivian Girls are among his imaginative characters. Outsider work like this is often misunderstood and deserves another look. What lies beneath the skin of young naked children is a narrative and naivety only a beautiful mind could create.

Re: “Are women artists as good as men?

It is great to see women's artwork, that is an important part of our social history, gain recognition and pick up momentum in the marketplace. In addition to Lee Krasner, thanks to Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchel, Joan Snyder and Agnes Martin for doing their great work.
