Meandering through the Internet, I came across this article. A lot of derogatory remarks. Whenever I hear folks lambasting someone who suffered consequences for a bad decision made in their youth, I thank God I was spared the worst possible consequences of my own youthful indiscretions. I was given the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and make better choices. Some who experience permanent consequences for a wrong choice never get over feeling sorry for themselves. Some blame others for their own predicament. Some forgive themselves and try to make the best of an unfortunate situation. Some even put their past where it belongs and try to make a better future for others.
