Re: “Plans dropped for Muslim neighborhood in John Barrow

Kate
"Keep looking" was part of my reply to olphart as is very obvious. You have avoided any answer to my original question of your support for a Christian community or my follow up regarding a Jewish community now that the New Africa project has failed. Of course you have taken the opportunity to be mean spirited and accusatory in your posts. You spout of intolerance and would seem to be an expert.

I know and it has the highest poverty rate in the nation. I just wondered if Kate would be as supportive of such a project now that the original proposal had failed.
Just saying.

Thank you for the very insightful answer.
As a replacement proposal for the abandoned John Barrow site perhaps you could now get behind a segregated Jewish project called New Israel.

Keep looking. I do hope there is a flaw in your logic. Any agreement is tentative and transient at most.

I trust you would similarly support a segregated Christian community.

Re: “Cotton office gets a visit from critics of his health bill

I was being more inclusive with the "deathbyinches" job description. At least with politics there is the potential to remove office holders for failure but not so much with your example of, "professional educators", "certified teachers", "teachers aides", etc, or so it would seem. Some 35% of college freshmen require remedial classes and yet this failure is not reflected in what appears to be a very protected and rather generously remunerated job for life. By the way, all people have my respect or appreciation but that that does not require me to condone or agree.

"politics is the only job in America a person can keep though they do nothing for the paycheck". Not only politics but also the vast majority of taxpayer funded jobs fit your description... "rarely showed up and lied and made stuff up while on company time" and rather than "living in a van" there is more often a bonus, advancement and an increase in benefits. It is fortunate the "Indivisibles" have empty time for such an event as it is an example to be remembered.

Re: “U.S. Senate intern's ugly remarks exposed in recording. He was on Tom Cotton staff.

Earl
From the first graph we read, "someone identified as an intern for U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton. He uses derogatory terms popular with the alt-right and gay bashers." and then, " it says he had worked for Cotton since January and is well-known in Republican circles." It's only if we wade through the regular explosive verbiage and innuendo that as an aside we could discover that Nate is actually a former intern. Perhaps a more honest approach would be to state this fact at the head rather than obfuscate in the nuance but that may not be the democrat way. Seems all that conceit, bitterness and disdain is really paying off for you at the ballot box.
