Re: “Securities Department moving against firm that employed broker who benefited from Shoffner business

Citizen1

You obviously don't know the broker and what he was earning your way off on that, it all was stated in court and The State Securities Commission knows there wasn't any "churn and burn" going on or they would have been all over that, also the firm and broker made the State over $26 Million in profits, and IF you can do math, you would know that is a deep discount in commissions. The guy they hired to come in and "help" Hunter Johnson would be perfect for an Edward Jones office as their just brokers that couldn't sell to big institutional accounts and are a dime a dozen that's why they are on every street corner. Citizen1 get a life. back in the 80's and 90's there were lots of brokers one day making 75,000 yr. then the next month 1 million that's why every swinging dick came to L.R. to sell bonds back then some made a million in a single month. you must work for Wendy's. The the bond business has always been chicken one week feathers the next.

Re: “Securities Department moving against firm that employed broker who benefited from Shoffner business

your another idiot the broker made the state $26,000,000.00 how do u know the broker was making 50-60 G's you obviously don't know the broker and what he charged was a true discount to what other firms would have charged if you would have read the court proceedings would know that. said he made 500,700,350 etc. a year. And IF there was any churn and burn going on (which the audit committee said there wasn't) the broker would have made 5-8 million in commissions. Hell don't you think if churning had happened the Securities Commission would have been all over that like a cheap suit you no sell'n dumb ass.
