Re: “Bid to expand voucher program clears House committee

Let Nelson have a child that needs additional support and she will change her tune about "emotional blackmail". Rather than understand and work with those that have needs, once again the AEA looks out for their special interest and tries to make others fit into their model of how students should be educated. Nice try Ms. Nelson. I didn't think it was possible but you have furthered ruined what little credibility you and the AEA have.

Re: “French Hill speculation game continues

This is a bunch of idle speculation. French Hill is not going anywhere. He would not take a position within this administration, it doesn't matter how prestigious the position or how qualified he may be. He is in a safe seat and he doesn't have to deal with an insane boss in his current role. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Re: “Rumor mill: French Hill to Treasury?

Nothing to it. Wishful thinking on someone's part. He is where he wants to be doing the job he wants to do in a safe seat that he will have as long as he wants to hold it. Who would want to go to DC and work for President Trump?

Re: “Tom Cotton and wife Anna have second child

Here is what is wrong with our country today. A senator announces the birth of his child and instead of wishing the senator and his family well, people choose to use the birth of the child to make a political point of how wrong the senator is or make a statement about their choices for their lifestyle. R or D, straight or gay, liberal or conservative, it shouldn't even matter. Best wishes to the senator and his growing family. May they all enjoy good health and be happy.

Re: “Molly Miller suspends race for Little Rock City Board

It takes courage to run for office, to subject yourself to public review of your life, your position on issues and your ability to serve. It takes even greater courage to step forward and withdraw from the race in an effort to protect and subsequently improve your health. Thank you Molly for stepping up but thank you even more for sharing your struggle. May God pave the way for you to receive the healing you desire and may He find a way for all of us to be supportive of Molly and others who fight mental illness.

Re: “Governor opposes medical marijuana

Cato - With the situation you described, I would support marijuana being allowed to relieve pain. The issue with this ballot proposal is that the definition of medical use is so broad that it leads to abuse. In addition, how the revenue would be spent is something that doesn't make sense. The $$$'s go to establishing the regulations by which the medicinal marijuana can be sold and the remainder goes to a fund to purchase medical marijuana for those that otherwise cant afford it. I see all kinds of problems with that.
Bottom line, I support the legalization. I just don't support this amendment.

Re: “Governor opposes medical marijuana

So the approach of liberals is to bemoan how Hillary is being treated by her opposition and then counter with equal disrespect for Asa and others with a different opinion on another issue. If you wonder why people are so pissed off about the world of politics, it is the rank hypocrisy shown by both the R's and the D's. Show some civility and we might get somewhere.

Let me get this straight...if you have lived a sober life, then you cant attest to the effects of marijuana, good or bad. Is that right Cato? I know a few of those physicians behind Asa. Some of them have probably never touched a drink. And a few of them still have headaches from their weekend.

I support the legalization of marijuana but feel that both amendments are bad. Definitions are too broad, regulations are too be determined and revenue not designated to the right place.
