Re: “Arkansas March for Science tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Golfer just knows that he can buy a polyester shirt which helps keep the rain off him when he's out hitting little balls -- he doesn't care who invented it -- In fact, he probably thinks it was invented JUST for him!
P.S. Golfer -- it wasn't invented for JUST you. It is for ALL of us --

Re: “Legislation to keep minors from being sentenced to life without parole clears House panel

"By giving prisoners a chance for parole board hearings, rather than resentencing them, this bill could save the state millions, Dold and Irvin told the Senate Judiciary Committee in February." -- We want it because it is progressive. They want it because it is cheaper. They're still completely Republican.

Re: “Legislation repudiates Supreme Court ruling on marriage

There is only one way to get rid of the cost of these "re-enactments" that we all expect (including and up to slavery). 2018 VOTE DEMOCRAT. Oh, and make him/her SWEAR that they will REMAIN Democrat throughout their term!

Re: “Anti-transgender bill would prevent amending birth certificates

The party of concentrating on how to be most cruel to the most vulnerable, how to accomplish this in as perverted a manner as possible, and ignoring the most important issues to concentrate on the totally irrelevant -- or, I should say relevant only to those whose lives they are trying to make even worse, intentionally...

Re: “Fight for reproductive rights fires salvo at Capitol

Remember when Arkansas was on the upward path? Civil Rights were finally becoming accepted - Bumpers and Pryor were our Senators, our State Legislators didn't fight for control over people against their wishes - and women were finally considered to be equal citizens, as opposed to second-class citizens. I was born here. But I don't want to die here. My votes for national office never count. That has become especially important to me since November 8. And obviously the electoral college matters more than I ever thought it should. :-(

Re: “Legislative preview: Gov. says 'bathroom bill' unnecessary, urges end to Lee holiday

At least he didn't initiate our own version of "kill tourism and halt all conventions" to the state... It is sort of pathetic when we jump for joy over the decision to NOT punish people for the way they were born... But then, we are dealing with Trumpsters for the first time ever, and thank God it looks as if Hutchinson doesn't wish to be a "true" Trumpster -- even though he voted as one.

Re: “Arkansas marijuana commission to license five cultivation centers initially

So, does this commission decide upon which five people/entities will get rich off this? And what IS a background check for, exactly?
