Re: “Bill to place monument to Ten Commandments on the state capitol grounds passes House

It's amazing what politicians will do to get the fundamentalist's vote.
I would suggest to leave a place for Joseph Smith's "one true church" and his favorite Mormon scripture.

It seems that these legislators have not read the Bible. The first of the Ten Commandments, "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me." actually meant to KILL non-believers. If you don't believe this, go back and read the story of how Moses commanded the Levite priests to kill all those dancing around the "golden calf." Also, remember the battle of Jericho. The "children of god" kill everyone in this city except two prostitutes. Also, the story of how the "children of god" killed all the Midianites--man, woman and child--except virgin females who are singled out and divided up between the priests and soldiers, God getting his ten percent, the usual tithing.
