Re: “Ethics upended

If you ran a casino and understood the history of how the gaming can be rigged, then the stance being adopted would come home like a heat seeking missile all the more. The deepening and depth of understanding for ethics and morals poses significant challenges, though whether formal and/or informal education, can awaken minds to Greatness, there seems to be an understanding of ethics as if the context were analogous to the 5th Amendment. Ethical context does not evaporate, though as you point out, on the surface, can seemingly disappear as the issues are weighed and placed in the scales. However, what is going around will come around. Pursuing the High Road, the higher, highest calling just needs a few or even one could arbiter of Justice! Better leadership by and for the people will emerge when the time is fertile!

Re: “Architects see challenges for Arts Center redesign

Hi or Low, the architects and engineers, struggle to sustain the golden thread, by which a "crazy quilt" is understood. No reasons have yet been offered to spec more qualities into the amount of the bond issue. What is said, is the nature of an economic structure by which artists and the art are playing second fiddle to the sciences. When in fact, they are complimentary to each other, thereby challenging the Medici of the State, to "Bring it on, with gusto!"

Have fun, but just remember the quote of the earlier great snapping turtle! Just what are We waiting to hear?

Re: “Loaves and fishes

The way the policy was introduced reflects poorly on legal admin function. The democracy that has crafted to date the conditions, the common and special causes that are being seen now in the response requires a more engaged response that includes the customer at the table.

Re: “UPDATE: Paris and climate: Are we all in this together or not?

We gotta do better than Paris Accord, if we expect to float better candidates who are known by the content of their character!

Re: “Walmart hears from employees on family leave

So, does a worker do "part-time" life?

Re: “What happens when only the 'deserving' poor get help? Reading for Arkansas.

If you revisit Carson's visit to public housing in Miami, or understand how the former President of Johns Hopkins, Isaiah Bowman would stretch his geography research about Machu Picchu, then understand the insights the late Oliver Sachs would realize from working in neuroscience. Perhaps just maybe a few more insights of what the crucible might yield can be ascertained in a better world that honors leadership. From my perspective, there is no excuse to afford militarization while destroying the domestic realities that are in a war that most people choose to ignore...

Re: “Trump's budget details emerge. Not pretty

As a proposal that cuts domestic spending while expanding Military, then who or how will the citizen absorb the shock. If a human were a machine, for the sake of keeping the idea simple, and the engine were up to operating speed, do you have any idea what sending cold water into the fired up boiler accomplishes. Somehow in crafting policies that took time to legislate and mesh with existing laws, seems to approach lunacy, when one pulls the plug, not gradually, but just proposes Darth Vader like responses. By contrast, does a casino ever stop gaming? And to consolidate loan services, not by the government (remember when the National Direct Student Loan was low), would seem to diminish the requisite need for deeper learning, language that can and can not be immediately applied to the market place of materialization. Prayers can be offered up, but to understand really how destructive ignorance can be does not require even rocket scientists.
