Re: “Trump targets national monuments, calls them 'massive federal land grabs'

Several years ago Time Magazine featured in the cover photo Las Vegas as the All-American City. However, what most people do not realize is the siting for the all american depository for used nuclear waste in near by... And then while one can look at the design and flow of revenue, how does one grasp or realize a mind that values resource management, sea to shining sea. Who really was on the Mayflower and is an experienced sailor? Who understands the better designers had to realize economies that only Nature teaches?

Re: “Supreme Court hears arguments in case that led to stays for two Arkansas death row inmates

Circumcision of the law? When psychiatry really means a billable label with medications to boot. Medicalize a social problem, or a mind that wrestles with the universe? As a child would know it and later as an adult? When does one realize how to place the information in the scales of justice? For learning how to ask the questions, manage the case before the Supreme Court is a difficult task for the people as well as the law, in and of itself. But what is the context being served?

Re: “The Jack Jones, Marcel Williams execution thread

Yesterday, in the emergent field of knowledge, principles and an ethic to live by, the practice of LAW failed. For if our country was founded on a system of beliefs that have evolved over time, always being triangulated between the branches of government, one attempts to realize the meaning and hope for the reduction of the acts that led to this moment. Yesterday, there are those who felt that our humanity was served to the LAW rather than understanding that as citizens, we need to have on our books, LAWS that serve humanity.

Re: “The Ledell Lee execution thread

Our belief systems attempt to realize order as in the court. However, if in the trials of humankind, the questions are silenced at work, at play, in class or in prayers, then who or what will begin to realize in these times, the implicit of the explicit? One can feel more "secure" when the "dashboard" is reflecting data from the moment but is this really accurate of forensic knowledge? There is an abundance of variance in any perceived engineered and non-engineered system, though Nietzche perhaps said it best about systems. (The term I use in reference to the movement inherent to the singular scales of justice, the two pans that in order to keep an eye, ear, nose, tongue, and touch on what is happening at the deeper levels of the human psyche requires more from the "leadership"). What are the conditions that affected the development over time of these people, the ones who witnessed and said nothing, the professionals who remained professional, the ministers who taught them "I pray...", when life written in caps, is the more incredible experience one can attempt to understand. Which, as the "lawful" remedy was processed, in reality one has to ask, "How empty are We, a people now? Where are the boundaries of "the crime scene?" How does government shield truths? How does governance shield truths?

Re: “UPDATE: State appeals execution drug ruling, asks removal of Griffen as judge

Olphart, the nature of what I attempted to type was in error a small bit. Information is always incomplete. But if each state is a legal island, that can perform better than the Federal Level of Law, but not worse, then at what point does the populist way of thinking, come together to understand the issues are not just about trials, but what contributed to the behaviors that drove the men to act out revenge enough to kill. So, if Arkansas lags or is ahead of the East and West Coast in how learning is valued, then are the scales of justice, realized in only two scales, a bicameral mind way of thinking? That we know generates biases. If one had 3 pans, then can one find the balance? If the fear is that the drugs will expire, then that in and of itself I would think is a horrible condition shaping the thought of the elected "leaders". And then one also has to mull over the idea of "seller's remorse". Are the issues more of a type of administrative law, then the type of behavior that is a political behavior of elected citizens to serve in the role of representing the State. Now if this is so, then does Law cease to act as a guide? And in our form of jurisprudence, the idea of the Death Penalty seems to be flawed as a response to impoverished behavioral issues that seem to not even be understood by the Diagnostic Statistical Manual. I look back to the time when I first went out to discover the nature of a mower, and blood soon shot out of my foot. But the foot was not the issue, my new Red Ball Keds were sliced and diced. And in growing up, there was the McKesson Robbins Rep that aided us with samples, now in "modernity", could not be purchased without a prescription. But if one wanted to understand the nature of "cruel and unusual" punishment, the trials start off with commitment proceedings. Public defense does not represent for the volume of the case load, and so the incredible pain of "being controlled" in an unsafe treatment has files of cases that only can be reviewed by the citizen or other agents of government. Often as history shows, the records are redacted beyond the reality. So, to have experienced Arkansas, which still holds something within, there is a tale of tragedy(s) unfolding in this challenge that will not add one bit to elevating the State in the eyes of the world, much less than in the hearts and minds, of the citizens who may or may not understand the inter connected and intra connected nature of our existence. I've met Rev. Griffen in the past, and can fully understand the Spiritual calling acting out on his life. The question is discernment, and being open to new, better information where minds locked up, as in those of the leadership, can evaluate the situation in a Kohlberg style of love, at the higher, highest level. I do not think at this point, judging back the arguments posted, that this level of awareness is occurring in these appeals nor in the economic structure that evolved since I left Arkansas. Perhaps this post can further the discourse into realizing a Better Way!

Re: “UPDATE: State appeals execution drug ruling, asks removal of Griffen as judge

The administration of State Law is what is trying to advance, the decisions based upon in complete information, that was placed in the poor defense trials of several men. In receiving today's, Brain in the News", the title is "Brain is 10 Times More Active than Previously Measured", by Dan Gordon of the UCLA News, March 9, 2017. Soon, and very soon, truer truths will emerge and the nature of how and why We, the People, adjudicate measure the character of the laws we have promulgated will have to be held up to a higher measure.... Otherwise, the results just continue to be seeds of "cruel and unusual punishment".

Re: “Two condemned prisoners seek delay for Supreme Court ruling on mental issues

A competent psychiatrist? Have you ever explored the evolution of the DSM? With knowledge too, of what happened to the first Secretary of Defense at Walter Reed? After being rejected by Truman? How or what is needed the cases beyond a question of doubt, though the cruel and unusal punishment aspect, can send one, even the one to death, to demonstrate to others since that day, on how to behave better! Just who is putting and measuring the weights going into the scales? Who is reading the Spirit of the Law, the words used then and in the past with what today's understanding of the what elements are realized in LIFE?
