Re: “Where is Jim Keet?

It's hard to say what happened until we get some facts. Given what we do know, it's tough to take the Keet campaign's explanation at face value. Raises way too many questions about a system that frankly should never be wrong.

Public records are probably tough to get a hold of on a friday night but I would love to see some answers to this soon.

Re: “Where is Jim Keet?

But Tap, the point is that Keet's campaign is DENYING the plane went to MS.

Re: “Where is Jim Keet?

Here's something interesting ... If you go to this site and type in "Tunica, MS" to find the nearest airports that are open to the public, the Hernando airstrip is the CLOSEST one outside Tunica and not in Arkansas.

Re: “Where is Jim Keet?

I don't know anything about air traffic control systems, but the denial sure seems fishy. As Max said, live by the high-tech, die by the high-tech, and this FlightAware site that Keet's map is built on seems pretty close to infallible. This from their website FAQ

"Where is this data from?
FlightAware compiles, aggregates, and processes data from a variety of government sources, airlines, commercial data providers, as well as FlightAware's proprietary flight tracking network. FlightAware's proprietary algorithms calculate delay and arrival time estimates to offer the most up-to-date and reliable flight tracking data on the Internet."

Sure makes a denial like the one from Keet's spokesman pretty suspect, huh?

Re: “Keet strikes on double-dipping

And it took all day for this he's-not-proactive-enough "attack" to come? Sounds like Keet can't even proactively grasp at straws.

Re: “Keet strikes on double-dipping

Seriously Keet? "reactive instead of proactive"? ... like failing to pay your taxes until a newspaper reporter calls to ask about them?

But hypocrisy aside, is this anything but a death rattle from Keet?

Re: “The candidate from Florida

I wish more people knew about this just because I think everyone could use the laugh. You're right, Sittin, the Keet campaign is just a joke now.
