Re: “'The spineless gun vote': Why?

And yet if a progressive ran against Pryor Max would probably cry about Pryor but then support him anyway. Everyone here thinks we should keep electing moderates to take on Republicans and look what it got us: Lincoln got shelled, Cotton won, the leg was lost to the crazies. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. It's time we elect people who have principles that they will hold firm on rather than trying to move to the center and try to sound like a republican because voters won't buy it. Same thing will happen in the gov race. Asa will win that when Dems nominate Ross who plays both sides and voters will know he is just a politician who will say anything rather than someone they think has principles and can be trusted. Wait and see. Or lets say Ross wins and acts like a republican, anyway. What was the point? Dems in Arkansas should fight for people they can believe in to be right on the issues. Otherwise, even if we win, we lose by electing someone who is a fake democrat. And then Max can whine about that person like Pryor. And the support his reelect, anyway. As I said: the definition of insanity.
