Re: “More on the vouchers-by-another-name bill

"...and you would never step foot in a state that doesn't have a private school choice program until you hit the extreme Pacific coast, and those states are crazy of course."

...rich judgment, indeed, from a member of Arkansas' Republican delegation, a group better known for being more concerned with who pees where, defending colleagues that attempt demonic exorcisms, and insisting that Robert E. Lee should be celebrated concurrent with MLK because they've still got the "sads" over the outcome of the War than they are of actually working for common sense solutions surrounding infrastructure, education, and spurring growth (incidentally, things that grown-ups in real states focus on).

Re: “Jon Woods' attorney says he's innocent and will fight charges

Problem for Woods is that by the time the Feds bring charges, they've got you dead-to-rights. You can count on it.
Also, couldn't have happened to a better guy. He's been a jerk since college...

Re: “Ecclesia College denies wrongdoing in receipt of state money

If you haven't read Jon Woods' wiki page, do it. It's an entertaining exercise in vanity, no doubt written by Mr. Man, himself...clearly more smitten with a mirror than most. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Woods

If this dbag does turn out to be Senator Alphabet, I call dibbs on updating his page.

Re: “Democrats prepare to mimic GOP lawyers like Leslie Rutledge

Here's hoping that Leslie Rutledge actually gets that Supreme Court nomination I've heard she's been whispering might be a possibility. While she is surely too goofy to realize that something like that would never be a possibility, I wouldn't mind watching the public vetting that would demonstrate to the rest of the country what us Arkies already know: That she's a mean-spirited power grabber entirely out of her depth that couldn't hold down her other state job for sending sexual and racist jokes through work email...the idiot.

Re: “Staffer plans to continue at secretary of state's office while campaigning for county judge

How the hell does someone with a full time job in Little Rock legitimately maintain Washington County residency...residency being the last guy's eventual rationale (contrived as it may be) for dropping out?

Re: “UA pushes ahead on Razorback stadium expansion; Pryor has questions

Good for Sen. Pryor. The debt issuance process absolutely needs to be bid out. I understand that the UofA has had some reluctance to bid competitively for underwriting services in an effort to satisfy the local boys. The difference between an aggressive bank and one that simply gets a clearing price on the bonds can and does mean millions in lost debt service savings for an issue of this size.

...and what exactly, the hell, are you eating that it costs $4,000 for 7 days of it...
