Re: “Ruth Coker Burks, the cemetery angel

"I'm Still The Same Son" is the story of a young man disowned by his father after coming out as homosexual. It fueled an epiphany: families who use religion to ostracize their gay children are not following the Bible's essential message: fear not, judge not, only love. One cannot logically use a Holy Book to promulgate hatred and fear. Ruth Coker Burks understands this simple concept and brings it to life.
