Re: “Why State Representative Nate Bell should resign

One cannot help but shake their head at Jim Harrington's support ("Did he say anything that wasn't true?") of Nate Bell's ignorant generalization!

Let me see, Jim: If I take an ignorant generalization from a southern redneck to be a self evident truth, I must then extend that line of thinking to also accept as self evident the generalization held by some in the Northeast regarding folks from the South - that they are all uneducated, illiterate, dirty, poor, stupid, incest-loving, gun-toting, racist, drunks!

Your support of a verbal attack by an elected American official on another American city in a time of national crisis confirms my belief that many in the South are still highly embittered that their ancestors got their asses kicked by the unarmed populace of the "cowering liberals" from the North!

Re: “Why State Representative Nate Bell should resign

I am still shocked by his comments! I live in Boston. I realize we have our differences on issues, but I never expected a comment like this from an elected official, in a time of national crisis. I fully support whatever it takes to achieve the goal of his resignation!
