Julie, wish I could be there in person as support. I don't know Judge Storey but this does clearly seem to be an errant (if not aberrant) ruling on the part of the Court. The big principle here is evident: No one -- including lawyers -- should be intimidated or reticent out of fear in having and expressing an honest opinion, and certainly should not suffer punishment for having done so. I'm sure there are some constraints on attorney speech that would not be applicable to laypersons but even mindful of that concern, there is no way that a simple criticism should bar you from a courtroom where, as a lawyer in good standing, you have every right to appear.
