Re: “I bet Tim Griffin did hustle out to the pipeline oil spill

Notes: Joe Oliver, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources claimed recently that all tailings ponds will be returned to such purity that one could use them for drinking water. Peter Kent is our Minister of the Environment.

I live near one of the Alberta tar sands tailings ponds and have raised my goldfish, named "Joe Oliver", within its confines for a couple of years now. He has grown slightly (although still smaller than a great white shark) and glows in the dark so he's easy to find when I need him.

I am proud to offer his services to the fine state of Arkansas. He is capable of consuming several barrels a day of heavy crude, and for him any chemical additives are but a fine sauce to such haute cuisine as Alberta bitumen. We can arrange transportation for Peter Kent to pick up behind Mr. Joe, as I affectionately call him. Mr. Kent has long experience in shoveling environmental baloney to Canadians and fish droppings are much lighter by volume.

Problem solved. I am asking for no compensation except perhaps a plaque in my name and that of Mr. Joe in the area of the spill. You're welcome.
