Re: “Bobby Petrino watch: No decision from Jeff Long today

Polecat, I wasn't directing my argument to you. It was emotional reaction to what I perceive to be the popular opinion in AR.

Re: “Bobby Petrino watch: No decision from Jeff Long today

Polecat, that might be their way out they are pursuing. However even if they claim to have ended the relationship before she applied for the job with the university athletic department, they did go on a motorcycle ride together after she got hired. If that is not proof that they were involved in a sexual relationship, it is proof that they straddled one another, grasped bodies tightly and rode a vibrating machine for an extended period of time. If that does not cross the line of inappropriate sexual behavior for co-workers, I don't know what does. I mean come the F on! Any guy that has rode a harley with a beautiful young lady knows there is very little that could be considered platonic, professional fraternizing going on there. And yes it is just their personal business, IF she wasn't his subordinate and he wasn't our employee with a state salary.

Re: “Bobby Petrino watch: No decision from Jeff Long today

Even if a sexual relationship was over before her hiring, it wouldn't rule out sexual harassment as defined by the University, correct? Well this all speculation anyways. But, if he admits to a previous sexual relationship while she was an employee, then he hired her to a new position after the affair was over, that would still be a case of her benefiting from a sexual relationship with a superior to gain advantage in the workplace over other colleagues and job candidates. This argument seems straightforward to me. What am I missing in the language of the Universities sexual harassment policy?

Re: “State Police to update Petrino crash details

This sounds more like an interview of King than an investigation or substantial review of the incident. There have been some concerns raised on this blog about the use of state resources by Petrino and speculation on legality of his interaction with any witnesses in the perceived cover up attempt . I hope to see further reporting on what legal obligations there are for any investigation of these events pertaining to both King and Petrino's actions as state employees. It is unfortunate, but this site is my only hope for earnest reporting on law and order aspects of public interest. Where are all the government and taxes hating activists now?

Re: “Petrino had rider in motorcycle crash

the university's statement stated that the following was a statement by the family which went on to say no other individuals were involved... does this take some of the blame off the uni and jeff long to you??
