Re: “It's not child's play

I just recently came home from Trinity Behavioral Health Care System LLC, and I just want to say that all of these “so called reports about staff slamming patients into the ground, slamming their knees into their backs, and twisting their arms back until they scream is so full of crap, because as a recipient of a restraint they do not slam you onto the ground and then slam their knees into your back and twist your arms back until you scream. Yes the restraints are not very comfortable but its not what everybody keep exaggerating it to be. And I can say that the way that people are making Mrs. Shirley out to be is completely wrong because I have met her and she is a very nice lady. She cares very deeply about the children at Trinity and she makes sure that we have everything that we need. For instance, when I needed new clothes for the colder months she made sure that I got some jeans, new socks, and some long sleeve t-shirts. She also tries to make the holidays as nice as she can. As for the staff, they do not abuse us. They also care for us and they always talk to us if we need them to. Mrs. Amanda and Ms. Nichole were there for us every step of the way encouraging us to try our best and try to make it to platinum (the highest card color to reach). Those of you saying that they abused you its full of crap because they do care. And yes the rules were very strict. No we couldn’t talk to the boys but it is so that we could focus on bettering ourselves and not worry about trying to find a boy to hook up with while we were there. Trinity is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I would know. I literally just discharged from there last week on the 25th. I loved the way that I could build relationships with my staff because I never could do that before and they helped me to learn to trust again.
