Re: “The boys on the tracks are back

"I mean no disrespect in saying this lawsuit sounds like the whistle of an approaching crazy train." - From Brantley's article above.

All Linda Ives is asking for in her FIOA lawsuit is what she is legally entitled to. The un-redacted documents concerning her son's murder from the various agencies still holding records about it.

29 years later isn't LONG ENOUGH???

The details in the lawsuit are explosive to be sure, but if you actually take the time to study and dig into the whole story, as Mara Leveritt has(at least until the late 1990's), you begin to understand that the only "crazy train" on the track is being driven by government agencies.

I suggest people continue digging at the things that have also happened SINCE Leveritt's book, The Boys On The Tracks, came out.

But even above and beyond all of that, let's strip the story down to something smaller that we can ascertain and act upon...

Dan Harmon and Sharline Wilson should, at the very least, be indicted for the murders of Kevin Ives and Don Henry.

Here's just SOME of the documents that Linda is fighting for to be released un-redacted...

- "Little Rock FBI investigation reveals that Benton Chief of Police Rick Elmendorf, Judge John Cole, and Dan Harmon were at Judge Coles residence when Dan Harmon suggested that he be made special prosecutor for the Ives-Henry case.

- "Since the beginning of the investigation by the special prosecutor the case has become riddled with rumors and innuendos. Special Prosecutor Harmon and assistant Richard Garrett, requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police, yet continuously withheld information from them.

June 3, 1994
- "However, further investigation has revealed that the two teenage boys were killed prior to being placed on the tracks and that the placing of the bodies on the tracks was a cover-up. This alleged cover-up supposedly involves law enforcement and political officials. In as much as (REDACTED) has provided information concerning this alleged cover-up, she was asked to take a polygraph."

- "It is the opinion of the examiner that the examinee's responses to the relevant questions were not deceptive(NDI)."

Feb 6, 1995
- "Further, it appears that the special prosecutor appointed in this case, (REDACTED) may have misused his authority and disregarded other leads that may have assisted efforts to bring this investigation to a logical conclusion. Lastly, it also appears that certain Saline County officials may have conspired to "cover up" the investigation in the deaths of Don Henry and Kevin Ives."
(it says Dan Harmon under that redaction... as noted by the other documents above)

- "Investigation has revealed that law enforcement officials in the Little Rock area may have been involved in captioned homicide."

Here's a video with 2 different witnesses, Tom Niehaus and Sharline Wilson, who did not know each other, who both passed polygraph tests, who BOTH place Dan Harmon on the tracks with the 2 boys on the night they were murdered...

Here's a confession letter signed by Sharline Wilson(in front of 3 officials)... hidden away in the case files for the last 23 years and only just revealed to Linda Ives last year(2015)... in which not only does Sharline Wilson state that Dan Harmon, Keith McKaskle and others were on the tracks the night the boys were killed, but Wilson also admits to stabbing one of the boys in the back, on the tracks.
This MAY be the stab wound found by Dr. Burton's second autopsy.

Linda Ives took the confession letter when she got it last year to Prosecutor Ken Casady, who wouldn't even look at it, and he then referred her to the Saline Sheriff.
And who happens to be the Saline Sheriff??? Well, that would be Sheriff Rodney Wright, who just so happens to be Dan Harmon's nephew!
You want to talk about a "crazy train"?!? C'mon!

He told Linda that he tried to get Sharline Wilson to come in last year but would need a warrant from Casady, to which Casady responded that it's not his responsibility to issue warrants, which shows Wright to be wrong, right away on that front... among others.

But still... 2 independent witnesses placing Harmon on the tracks with the boys... 1 witness signing a confession letter(that was hidden away) admitting to stabbing one of the boys... loads and loads of documents from various local, state, and federal agencies, citing a cover-up with law enforcement involved, including Dan Harmon... Dan Harmon's eventual arrests and convictions involving drugs and racketeering... the list goes on and on.

There's no statute of limitations on murder.

Here's an Arkansas State Police document detailing Mike Crooks statement about Jay Campbell and Kirk Lane who
- Beat the boys unconscious and threw them into the car, and then drove off.

Which is the same story corroborated by another witness, Ronnie Godwin(now deceased).
Also of note in that report is...

- Crook states that before Keith McKaskle was killed, McKaskle told him that Kirk Lane and Jay Campbell of the Pulaski County Sheriffs Office were following him around and he was afraid they were going to kill him.

Here's some more examples of exactly WHAT Linda Ives is fighting for...

- "Evidence from this case, to include a sketch of the accident scene, cigarette butts left at the accident site, pictures of the crime scene, plus the original case file are missing."
The rest of the document is REDACTED. What happened to the evidence???

Here's another document corroborating the previous document's assertions...
- "Saline County officials are baffled that some of the original evidence collected during 1987 is no longer available and that files are missing..."
And of course material pertaining to the issue is REDACTED.

Here's another example of large redactions...
- "Law enforcement officials alleged to be involved in drug trafficking in Saline County include:"
All the names and rest of the information... REDACTED

After 29 long, painful, and frustrating years, it's long beyond time that all those documents... and many, MANY, others in relation... are released in FULL, thus allowing the Ives and Henry families the best opportunity to finally solve the murders of Kevin and Don and bring some form of Justice to the guilty.

Arresting Dan Harmon and Sharline Wilson is the perfect place to start.

Intending "no disrespect" to Max Brantley, but he may want to do some actual "investigative" journalism and report on material such as the above before he buys Linda Ives a ticket to board the "crazy train".
