Re: “Homicide Diary: former LRPD Homicide Detective Ronnie A. Smith

Ronnie Smith was one of the best I have ever had the privilege to work with. They say that you always remember how someone made you feel and no matter what he was always so respectful and treated us like part of his team. There were many times I did see him work many many hours with no rest, but he kept going. His disposition never changed! Just focused and sweet as could be.

I still have to contact him several times a year, and it still amazes me details he remembers from YEARS ago! Always willing to help in any way and ALWAYS says, "If you need anything else, call me back!"

I hated when he left, but understand how it must take such a toll to see the things they do almost every day. In the years I worked around him, I never heard of one person that didnt adore Ronnie Smith. But then again I wouldnt cause everyone knew I did!! Your a class act Ronnie and Im so glad your only a phone call away.

Re: “Jennings Osborne properties head to auction; daughter Breezy remembers her dad

I think Breezy is the example of true class. Her parents raised a good person and that is more than alot of people can say. All rich people are not spoiled, this is proof of that! I am happy for her because she has the wisdom, and she will make it in this mean world because she is so grounded.

I remember when Jennings Osborne sent trays of food to a particular department when the tornadoes hit Little Rock. This department worked 24 hours a day for several days. He made sure everyone was fed around the clock!Breezy, many people were so grateful for this!! Your parents have always been good to their community and others. I am so sorry your going through this!
