The Nuevo Mexican restaurant on the hill heading downtown in Eureka Springs has shed lunches but expanded service to six nights a week. The best items on the lunch menu are now available for dinner. During our most recent visit, we were quite taken by the Casa Colina Crepes ($16.95), tender crepes stuffed with perfectly cooked shrimp, fresh spinach and mushrooms and drizzled with a cream sauce and a pineapple salsa. We found it both decadent and light, which paired well with our lovingly muddled Mojito. The Dry Rub Ribeye Steak ($18.95) at 12 ounces satisfied our American craving for meat, and the accompanying Jalapeno baked beans in their own taco were just savory icing. Of course, we still adore the Chilaquiles ($6.50), better than traditional nachos with big chunks of queso fresco on those flour chips.
