Cheddar's open

The chain restaurant Cheddar's, which bills itself as a "casual cafe," has opened its first branch in Little Rock. It's at 300 S. University, in the Park Avenue shopping center that also includes Target. Hours are 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. until midnight Friday and Saturday. The phone number is 614-7578 and the website is cheddars.com.

Hillcrest Artisan Meats (H.A.M.), the locally-sourced, organic meat shop coming to 2807 Kavanaugh, pushed its opening target back from Nov. 1 to Nov. 7. We'll keep you posted.
