Re: “So much for 'We the People' in Rapert's home county

Well Poison Apple thank you so much for that very pleasant welcome. Let's see hear you have personally attacked me for making a comment about an article I found to be worth commenting on. I did not know I had to check with you before expressing myself. I also went to school in Conway and know of many stories you are speaking about. I'm sorry to hear about your loss but you are proving my point. They left the county .They were not driving around in ours! I personally have been hit by a drunk driver. As for your very immature comment about racism you must have some very deep racist issues.

Re: “So much for 'We the People' in Rapert's home county

The Quorum Court is the "voice of the people" concerning the County issues in their districts.Seems to be that they are more concerned about the well being of our 3 Colleges and our town than Wal -Mart and Kum n Go lining their pockets with beer sales.People are being mislead to believe that their will be a huge revenue but in reality as we all saw last night that it will actually raise our taxes in the town.Have you been to Wally World and heard the lies that the paid petitioners are telling. My favorite one is that the amount of DWI"S will decrease when a county goes wet.Our town has already out grown the street system so by putting intoxicated people in their vehicles driving back n forth several times a day to get their fix should not be a problem right? How about what else a wet county brings to Faulkner, bars, night clubs and lets not forget the STRIP CLUBS ,BIG difference between these establishments an our on premise alcohol sales which will be hurt by going wet.Faulkner county is growing so fast because people are leaving the crime and problems of a wet county.
