I baffled as to why many of you think he's getting special treatment. His case is being handled the same way as many others in the country. Many parents don't get prosecuted at all, except in the ever present, highly valued court of public opinion.

This was a tragic accident where many of the details of the case are still being withheld. I'm not sure why people can are drawing such harah and critical judgements based on the current information, but I do wish you would feel free to pause, take a breath between rants and perceived injustices, and realize that this family lost something precious to them. Have some compassion, rather than criticism and vitriol.

Feel free to educate yourselves with the link below, although I can tell many of you aren't reading the articles where you're posting your little peppercorn comments.
