Re: “Update: State Board votes to waive the Teacher Fair Dismissal Act in Pine Bluff schools

Considering Asa had to dumb down the requirements for Key to get his job, his actions don't surprise me at all. Charter schools should have the exact same requirements as public schools. They should be "taken over" should they be deemed failing (yes, several are failing no matter what the charter pep squad says).
The illegitimate Board that is running LR is made up of pro-charter people and mostly have no connection with the LRSD. They just want their hand in the pot for the continual destruction of public schools and the expansion of charter schools. IF the LRSD survives to next year, it will be very interesting to see what Key and his cronies have up their sleeve when they are legally required to release control of the district.

Re: “Arkansas Times challenges law that requires state contractors to pledge not to boycott Israel in federal court

I'm thankful for this suit being brought about for this clearly unconstitutional law passed by the infamous Hester. I thought it was unconstitutional the minute I read about the bill and then later had to sign two such pledges for companies doing business with my employer. I don't support nor ever would entertain a boycott of Israel, but I also know it was infringing on my rights and the rights of my business by making me sign the pledge. Once again, the tax payer will suffer the cost of having to support an unconstitutional bill. Maybe we could save money if all bills had to actually be vetted for such issues BEFORE being passed??? The cost of that employee would be far cheaper than the bank of lawyers we hire to cover bills by Rapert, Hester, Ballenger and actions (or inaction) by Rutledge.

Re: “The high-priced lobby at DHS

The cesspool of corruption that Asa and the GOP has created continues to get deeper and deeper. Our Legislature is a laughing stock to the country. There are no longer any ethics in our legislature due Woods who now sits in prison. They hoodwinked the ignorant electorate and were able to triple their term limits and double their salary. They are an embarrassment to our state.

Re: “Rapert locked out of Twitter account due to comments about Muslims

The lame attempt to excuse his tweet by claiming he just re-tweeted is just that. Lame. If you re-post/re-tweet something, then you are in agreement unless you make your opinion clear. Rapert is a money hungry pseudo Christian trying to force his warped Christianity on the rest of us. Hell probably try to get our out of state AG to file a suit against Twitter (and shell probably do it).

Re: “Who wants to be a millionaire? See Rep. Stephen Meeks. UPDATE

There must be something in the water in the Conway/Greenbrier area... they keep finding and electing people ill suited to represent them. Not to mention how ignorant and hypocritical they are.

Re: “For the record: Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a) a liar b) full of 'HuckaBS'

Oh my goodness Steven. Now someone pushing his wrist against the woman's arm... the same woman grabbing for the microphone... is actually assaulting or having aggressive contact? REALLY???? He had every right to ask the question as he was being attacked by your president for simply asking a question he didn't like. Yes, it was doctored to make him look more aggressive... look at the AP comparison. Lack of audio was a dead giveaway on the edited version. I know in your little world, black is red and up is down in trumpland, but not in the real world. You claim Acosta was acting like a "baby", yet have NO problem with your president throwing a tantrum and calling both Acost and the PBS reporter nasty names. You are just as bad as the rest of the trumpets and not worthy of another response.

And of course Steven crawls out from the woodwork to spew the same drivel as Huckleberry. Steven... the UNEDITED video absolutely shows he only help his grip on the microphone and said "excuse me maam". SHE was the one who actually had contact with Acosta. I know facts are something you and your ilk just can't handle any longer since you follow the liar in chief like a lap dog, but DO please try to be a little more unbiased.
